Safe patient transfers: transfer belt, slide board, hoyer lift
Personal safety
Patient Safety
Care of Oxygen dependent patient
Emergency evacuation pts home, especially bedbound patient
Fire safety-include electrical safety hospital bed
Oral hygiene
Nutrition and meal preperation
Diet restrictions: Dabetes, CHF, Renal
Light housekeeping + Environment of care: safe use cleaning products, q visit kitchen cleanup, weekly dusting, BR cleaning, monthly refridge cleaning, etc.
Ostomy and bowel care
Catheter care: changing bedside to leg bag, bag cleaning, self cath equippment

Your welcome! Worked in a agency one time where we did office of aging supervisory visit and were encourage to give aide 1 hour CE during visit. Each monthly I thought up topic related to care of patients on my roster. Never had problem doing sup visits as aides always showed up to get one of my credits since 12 units CE required yearly.
