Does anyone know which adapter is safer?
The PhaSeal with Luer Lock c35 or Texium ?
this BD PhaSeal System Components - Injector vs this http://www.carefusion.com/documents/brochures/infusion/IF_Chemo-Safety-System_BR_EN.pdf
I had chemo running through a line connected with a PhaSeal adaptor, and when I tapped the line to remove a small air bubble, the line disconnected from the PhaSeal.......
I don't know if these PhaSeal adaptors tend to get loose or not.
What's your experience with them?
Thank you everyone

They both have a luer lock connection, and should be equally good in theory.I have used phaseal in home health and carfusion at my other job.I suspect it was operator error.Ws it connected at a Y site...if so those can be a bit more difficult to attach onto....even curos are difficult to attach due to the narrow angle at the Y .
