All depends on your program. Mine you don't have a chance w/out at least a B+, and even then the rest of your pre-reqs better be A's, not A-, but straight A's.
I'm doing really well in chemistry and I give credit to the teacher. She takes her time with the class and does a wonderful job on breaking things down. Her tests are difficult, but she let's you know exactly what to expect, so really, you should go in knowing pretty much what grade you are going to get.
If for some reason you have to retake chem, I would definately get the scoop on the other instructors teach the class. See what other students say about them.
This is not giving me hope! I have to take Chemistry in the summer time right before nursing school starts and I am SOO not looking forward to it. I'm in A&P I now..and then A&P II for the first summer session (Chem will be in the second summer session).
I think I should be fine with a C in Chemistry at my nursing school..and hopefully..tha'ts the least I'll get!
By the way, Anatomy is a lot of work..but it's mainly memorization..and it's interesting!
chem is a lot of memorization, functional groups (alcohol, amines, ethers, carboxylic acid, lots more and their conjugates), different reactions, proteins. basic chem has a lot of math to it. calculating m, ph, charges, balancing chemical equations. make sure you can use log function on the caculater and know your power rules.

Does anyone hate chemistry as much as I do?? I have never been able to pass a Chemistry class in my life. I'm struggling in it this semester and am trying SO hard to keep my B...but slowly going down =(.
I was going for an A, but with the way things are going - esp now going into the Organic Chem portion, I'll be lucky with a B...
Any body able to get into nursing school with a C in chemistry?? I haven't taken any other pre-reqs but really think i'll do better in the A&P portion, since I really love learning about the body. I need some hope, haha!
