Hi Everyone!
I'm looking to do my chemistry prequisite in the spring. There are two options I can pick from: Chemistry for Non-science majors, with an emphasis on the health professions, and General Chemistry. The syllabi for the classes are the same. The only difference between the two classes is that the Chemistry for Non-science majors is a freshman level course and the Gen Chemistry is sophomore level.
All the school requires to fulfill the chemistry requirement is a 3 hour course with a one hour lab.
So my question is which chemistry course would I be better off taking? Which one would better prepare me for nursing school? Chemistry, in general, scares me the most out of all the science courses.
Regardless, I'll be taking the course through Tarrant County College and eventually applying to TWU or UTA.
Thanks in advance for any input!

Check on UTA's chemistry requirement. I'm quite sure UTA has a special chemistry for nursing that mixes in gen chem/organic/biochem in it. I went to TWU almost a decade ago and took the non-science chemistry course. You won't have to touch chemistry again if you're in nursing school, so take the path of least resistance and take the non-science chemistry.
Check the course-equivalence table for UTA/TWU and make sure!
