Chemeketa Community College Kaplan Entrance Exam 2016

Hey everyone!

I just want to wish y'all luck on the entrance exam this year!
If you would like, post your scores down below so we can all get a general idea of the average scores since this is the first year and then we can keep in touch when we find out who all gets accepted!

A score of 89 is considered 50 points on the application, but from looking around that score seems pretty rare...

Awesome! Well I'm so curious what a good score will be. Obviously we'll shoot for 89% or higher.

I got a 76!! I am retaking it for sure! What did everyone get?

I got an 80. Should I retake the exam?

I think it's up to you! Did you apply anywhere else? I think an 80 is competitive though.

I got an 81%. I'm leaning towards not retaking the test. I have an interview at OHSU and proctored essay at PCC. If none of these work out, I'll reapply next year and retake the test.

I only had the prerequisites for Chemeketa completed in time. So it is Chemeketa or bust. I hope more people post their scores so we can get a sense of what is a good score vs a bad one haha.

I've heard anything in the 80s is considered good! But yeah maybe wait to see how more people did and then you can decide whether to retake it! I kind of wish I signed up for an earlier date now. I'm getting anxious

Does anyone know how many people they invited to take the test?

We were told 200 before we took the test, but that seems REALLY high.

I think there was around 150, 160 complete applications this year? I forget but under 200!

Yeah I heard her say 195, but I didn't know if that was the total number of applications, or people invited to the test.

I've heard from other staff as well that it is around 180-200 applicants. My Score on the test was a 78...a lot of people I've talked to have gotten in the low 70's. Apparently anything over 75 is super competitive, so I'm happy with my 78.
