Chem in the summer or Chem and A&P in fall semester at NCC

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hi, I need to take Chemistry in order to apply to the nursing program this Fall 2015. In order to apply the nursing adviser recommended that I take Chemistry in the summer and A&P in the fall semester. How hard is it to take Chemistry in the summer semester? Should I attempt to take it or should I just take Chemistry and A&P in the Fall semester together? By the way I am attending Norwalk Community College so any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

How many weeks is summer semester at your school, and which chem class are you taking (intro, general, inorganic, organic, etc). Those two things are going to play a role in making a decision.

But if I had to take another science with A&P, I would say chem would probably be the easiest choice. I think the only combo that I personally wouldn't do is anatomy with micro.

Its 5 weeks, im taking Concepts of Chemistry,I guess its general chem? Well im not sure if I should take it in the summer. I have asked two students and one said its easy to do in the summer the other one said its hard. I wanted to take A&P alone in the Fall. Thanks for your reply.:)

Im taking a&p 1 and 2 this summer. they are both 5 week classes not at the same time but, from what I herd its very intense. You have to be good at remembering. And I think its a test once a week almost (at my school)

In the past I did take psy and English in the summer and it was intense there was either a test each week or a essay due each week. But it was so worth it because it wasn't dragged out for 15 weeks. I got a B in both. It depends on the person and the teacher. If you have a good teacher that will help allot.

Good Luck.
