Chattanooga State 2014 Nursing Hopefuls

I currently applied for Chattanooga State's 2014 Fall Nursing Program. Are there any 2014 hopefuls here? I didn't do as well on the TEAS exam as I had hoped. I have a nursing score of 85.3. It's on the low end so I don't know if I'll make it in this year.

I will be applying for the Fall 2015 class. Your excitement and enthusiasm is contagious! Have any advice for someone who will apply in the future?

Really learn that TEAS material! The ATI book is pretty great. Definitely worth the money. As a lot of people say, the reading comprehension is kind of ridiculous compared to that section on other standardized tests. I did better on the actual reading test than the practice. If you can make a 100 on the math practice, you can do it on the real thing! Also, don't worry so much on cramming in all the pre-reqs. You HAVE to have Chem1 from HS or college. Other than that, do your best on all the pre-req classes you take now through the fall. They are what count toward your GPA, and a high GPA in those will likely help you more than cramming them all in at once and not putting your best work into it!

I spoke to Mrs. Sivley, and she informed me that the minimum nursing score was 85.8. I'm hoping to be put on standby, but I'm assuming they received an email as well.

You would think that they would have sent the rejections out in an e-mail, as well...but I have received nothing.

No, and I heard the cutoff for standby was 85 so I should be on the list. I have to wait for the letter, and if it doesn't state I'm on stand-by then I'll call back.
