I was just wanting to see how my fellow students are doing with applying and having to wait till October to find out if we got accepted into the program starting Spring 2013.

How did everyone do on their TEAS?

Any questions or concerns?

I am just waiting for a letter I've taken just about all the classes I can. I meet all the requirements for most BSN programs but this teas exam is getting the best of me :(

Are you retaking the TEAS??? If so, when? There is material out there that will help you to pass. You can go on the ATI testing site and take practice exams or order a TEAS book. I got the McGraw-Hill Nursing entrance exam book....you can even use a GED book. Don't give up!

no, not yet. I am taking it in November...I am not applying for Spring Semester

I've had both of those study guides and I recommend the McGraw Hill book. Nice meeting you Callie & Erica!

Yes it was great meeting both of you too! We will have to sit by each other next week! I was in a rush to go out to lunch with my friend... And get my daughter to gymnastics... My Wednesdays are BUSY!

No, not that I heard. Everyone was basically listening to the teacher's stories. She's full of stories for class, and it seems like it's going to be interesting!

But I will try to come out of my shell next week and talk to a few more people!

Do the advisors really want you to make in the 80s on that test?

The one I spoke to say they advise to try and make in the 80's but I think that is to basically assure you would beyond a doubt get in. Callie has a friend who got in way under and there are older threads on here where they have.

OMG... I just completed the first homework assignment, have any of you other ladies tried to start it? I just need reassurance that I may or may not have done it right...

I started it, haven't gotten to the calculations part yet! I took the chapter one qiz and will try to take chapter 2 tommorow.... The calculations look like a pain!
