Has anyone applied for Spring 2014 at CTC? It is a great time to get to know each other while waiting for that interview invitation. I met some of my classmates here and found that it made orientation and the first week of classes easier. I would be glad to answer any questions about the LPN program.

Ok. So I just got on here and noticed the new post. SO, I grab my flip flops and go check the mail... mind you, my drive way is long and uphill. Literally, the most nerve wrecking walk of my life. My lungs are burning from the cold and the nerves, not to mention my stomach doing flips. So, I get back inside and open my letter. I GOT IN!!!! Yay. I'm still shaking as I type this and I feel like I might cry. But I'm happy.

I also got my acceptance letter today! I can't wait to meet all of you at orientation. :)

What wonderful news ladies.... you will love this program!!! We are finishing our first clinical rotation tomorrow and it is the sweetest victory ever!!!! We have spent two weeks at the same location and worked our tails off! Set up your facebook page and some of your seniors will ask to join just to help you along your pathway. Our seniors continue to help us soooooo much! Good luck and welcome aboard!

me either.... nothing in the mail. I think its a bad sign. My TEAS score was pretty low. When is the orientation? What day do you have to accept your seat by?

Orientation is in jan. Have to accept the seat by Friday, nov 1.

Congrats on finishing your first clinical rotation! I can't wait for clinicals. :) I'd love to hear more about how the program works from someone who's been living it for a few months! What are the hours like? How many days per week? Are there breaks during the year (ie a week off during summer, week off around the holidays, etc).

I think the facebook page is a great idea! It would be nice to get to know each other a little before everything starts in January. What is your facebook page called? The only one I found was for a paulding group that graduated in 2011. :)

I totally agree on the fb page idea . I wouldn't mind starting it.....

I think theirs is call CTC LPN summer class of 2014

Great! If you do, let me know. Have you heard much about the program in terms of hours, holidays/breaks, etc? I'm married to a fireman and we have to plan vacations and such a year in advance. Throwing nursing school into the mix should make things exciting...lol! ;)

I hear the first couple of months is Mon- Fri 9-4.

Yes there are holidays. You should be able to plan your vacations since your schedule will be given ahead of time .
