Hello everyone i am applying to chattahoochee techs spring 2012 program i am starting this thread to see if anyone has already applied and what there gpa and teas score was. I wish everyone the best of luck. I am supper nervous and scared i take the teas in july so hopefully i will know where i stand once i take the teas. please for anyone who has already taken i am open to all advice.

I don't know if you have heard yet, but Chattahoochee has postponed their January 2012 class to fall 2012! I found out when I went to take my TEAS last week. I am scrambling now to see if I can get into Ga Highlands spring 2012. Whatever you end up doing, good luck!

what !!! i had no idea i knew that they pushed the deadline to september but i had no idea that they pushed the class back *** they should telll people these things. i just to my teas and they didnt mention anything

I know, I was so upset. I took my TEAS on July 12 and that is when I found out. A girl sitting next to me started talking about it and showed me an email the school sent her saying they were postponing until fall. I have no idea why she got an email b/c I did not. Then the teacher administering the TEAS came in and told all of us. She said that they were letting everyone who want to reschedule their test for a later time if they wanted more time to study. That is the only thing I have heard about it. If you look at the website though, you will notice all information now if for "Fall 2012". It really angers me that they did not do very much to inform us of this. I had been so ready to get into school and apparently they can't even extend the courtesy of trying to let us know in enough time to consider other options. They said it had to do with the q2s conversion, but if so, why didn't they already know they were going to postpone? Either they did and couldn't be bothered to tell us, or there is some other issue. I have to wonder if they are anticipating a problem getting accreditation now that the first class has graduated?

So what are you planning to do now?

i am so upset rite now like i took mine on the 15 no one said anything like why would they not say anything. rite now im just gonna try and look at some lpn programs and maybe ga highlands i just am so lost rite now like why would they not tell me i just appiled to the school

Sorry to have been the bearer of bad news. I took the TEAS on the 12th and that is when I found out. I was really shocked as well. All the school website says are the new dates, nothing about it having been changed. I don't know why they have not made an official announcement. It's very rude in my opinion!
