I also used to work in WA State, graduated from University of WA medical center. Becoming an NP in WA State is so worthwhile.
What city are you working in?

Our local hospital just hired a CNO with a two year degree in nursing and a MS Business. I thought CNO's of hospitals had to have a masters in nursing? Any info on this?

HI! One way you can find out about the requirements for a CNO are to check the facility job requirements in human resources. If there is any kind of state licensing required or a state law for this kind of position, there should be a state department that administrates it. Usually, it would be under the department of health. You could also ask the Board of Nursing.
