Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) University of Charleston West Virginia (UCWV) - Marshall 2025 Cohort

Published

Hi everyone!

I'm interested if anyone else has applied to CAMC/UCWV for the 2025 cohort? I know it was a crazy turnaround time, with first day for application submission starting May 3rd and last day ending May 24th, but I hope there are others out there so we can compare experiences! Let me know 🙂

Hi, this may be an obscure question. CAMC/Marshall university used to offer a DMPNA degree and it is now a DNP/DNAP. What is the difference? Why the change?

Specializes in Neuro ICU/ Peds OR.

Hey! Marshall required a lot of business classes that were not vital to the DNAP program. The business classes take focus away from what is really needed to be a CRNA .CAMC cut those courses out. We are also front loaded and follow a different sequence in our courses , but the core classes are the same. Hope this helps! I really enjoy the program!
