Hi all! I am applying to CSN in Aug. for the Spring 2018 class. I just wanted to start a post to help answer questions and compare profile scores:) Does anyone know what the last application cut off was?
Thanks for this post! I was thinking about something similar..In Spring 2013 I got a D in Biochemistry at LSU and was stressed because I thought that would leave me with 0 points for the "Academic Hardiness" section. But it won't, right? Because biochem isn't a part of the CSN curriculum?
Hey you guys!
I'm applying to Charity for Spring 2018. I was wondering if any of you could give me some insight on a couple things:
I have a bunch of courses from other institutions (actually, none from Delgado) and I haven't been getting much of a response about how these courses will transfer. Like, my micro class transferred as XXXX. I read somewhere else that this is why we include all course descriptions for classes not taken at Delgado- so they can potentially be transferred.
Also, how do I calculate my CSN gpa? Is that a silly question? Is it just adding earned points and then dividing by the number of classes?
Thanks!
I believe you can email the science/math dept. to see if it will transfer [email protected]. I found some of the ones I needed on here.

haha no, I had to look up how to get my CSN GPA too, you go from all of your classes on the curriculum self-assesment sheet. You divide your quality points by credit hours. Your quality points are A 12 pts, B 9 pts, C 6 pts. For labs its A 4pts, B 3pts, C 2pts
I have emailed Dean Gruber a couple times but have had a really hard time getting responses. Thanks for that link! I'll check it out.
Also, do you know how to calculate classes that were pass/fail? I tested out of intro to psych and foreign language after highschool so those grades are just pass/fail.

Ooh okay. You sign up in person? Whenever I tried to do it online it was weird.
