Charity School of Nursing Spring 2018

Published

Hi all! I am applying to CSN in Aug. for the Spring 2018 class. I just wanted to start a post to help answer questions and compare profile scores:) Does anyone know what the last application cut off was?

I'm not going to make it two weeks lol.

I am checking my email like every 4 minutes! haha. Do any of y'all happen to know from previous years, etc if we will have to do an orientation if we get in? I mean I know we will, but I wanted an estimated date because I am from out of town. If y'all have any info id appreciate it!

From what I've seen before advising is about a week or two after letters are sent out and orientation is the first week of Jan. I'm sure that could change tho

Our wait time is dwindling down now! But my nerves are a mess still! Hopefully we'll all find out this week. Prayers, prayers and more prayers!

I applied last year and we didn't get our email until the day they told us we would (around 8:00 that night to be exact). They told me October 6 which is a Friday I'm positive this is when we will get our emails

I wish they would have stuck with just the 6th, I definitely got my hopes up for earlier but it's still not too far! 10 days and a couple of hours :) we're almost there!

I applied last semester to get in for this semester (Fall 2017) and I got my denial letter on March 20th when the deadline for the to let us know their decision by was February 10th or something like that! So I'm thinking it could still come a little early! Good luck everyone!

If you don't mind me asking what was your profile score when you last applied?

Anyone planning to apply for the LPN program just in case they don't get in for th RN

I'm going to apply again in the spring if I don't get in. I should go from a 70 to an 80 profile score if I calculated it right, if I don't get in tribe I quit haha.

last year I applied with a 60-65 and didn't get in. I'm finally trying again! It's been a long process and I'm so ready to give up but I've come to far for that. If I don't get in this time I'm going to apply for the LPN program just so I don't have to sit out. I've taken all the classes needed and I'm enrolled at holy cross taking classes for the BSN program. Hopefully we all get in

I had a 45 when I applied! Which I obviously knew I wouldn't get in with that score but the advisor told me just to apply anyway, so I did. I wasn't done with my pre-reqs yet and I had one D and a few W's when I applied. So this time, since I have already applied and didn't get in, my one D and W's don't count against me anymore plus I'm done with all the courses I need besides the nursing ones and I improved my Hesi score, I'm praying with these improvements I'll get in this time!
