U.S.A. Louisiana

Hello everyone, I know the application date is not till August but I am already nervous and stressed about getting accepted to CSN for spring 2017. Anyone else applying this August?

I see it, Thank you. What does CSN mean? Does it mean the nursing pre-reqs?

It's short for Charity school of nursing

Omg you guys I'm so confused I wanna do lpn & then go back & get my rn. But I'm not even sure where to begin can someone please help me?

What do you need help with ?

I'm not sure how to get in to the practical nursing program? I'm unsure of what classes to take? I'm not sure if when to take the pre nursing exam

On the charity website there should be a list of all the pre-reqs and classes needed for LPN. It's up to you when you want to take the Pre Nursing exam. I took one already and didn't get a good score .. But now that I know what to expect I think I'll do better the second try. If you are unsure about the test, and want to get into the program ASAP, then I would give you time to take the exam twice if needed.

Do I need to take the test to get into the program?

Idk about LPN, but I know you need to take the HESI exam to get into the nursing program.

Hi everyone! I am also applying to Charity in August. I'm super nervous like everyone else! What's everyone's profile score? Mine is a 65 right now but I should get a 70 or 75 after I retake the hesi. Hopefully!

Hey there! I'm so nervous. My profile score will be a 65 as well. I can't get the 10 points for A&P II since I won't take it till the fall. I'm praying to get in so I don't have to wait almost a whole year!

I have heard of people getting in with a 60 it all depends on how many people apply and what their scores are. But I think 60 -65 is usually the cutoff. I'm so ready to start! Have you taken the Hesi yet?

I am registered and paid to take it on July 11th. I am anticipating the 65 with only a score of 80, so I could possibly do better. I already bought the study guide and flash cards. Have you taken it?
