ill be 35 yo next year when i apply for this visa, was get my bachelor degree in economic field,

which not related to nursing...after more than years, why i want to sudden change my career in to nursing,

which is on a high demand..oz gov would be suspicious on this...

i still can try....but...if oz gov refuse me, ill loose some big bucks

is that true..??

has anyone experience this or probably someone you know been through this kind of things..??

It is my understanding that the Australian immigration department will only allow people on a voluntary basis to this country, that are refugees (face unhumane conditions or political harrassment or deathin own country) into this country.

or you can take you chances and go with the 'other' which is get points and go on waiting list and be assessed whether or not you would become an Australian citizen and benefit this country.

or be a professional that is needed in this country.

Student permits are issued to people that are fully funded ie, can pay for all tuition fees and living expenses.

If you already have a qualification, what is to stop you using this and taking the job of an Australian citizen or permanent resident and without the proper work permit or residential status as you would have entered the country on a student visa.

Australia may need nurses, but qualified nurses right now...to benefit the Australian Community. The government has already increased places in universities, for Australian citizens that wanted to become nurses but there was not the university paid places for them, to try an eleviate the nursing shortage.

Sorry to be so blunt, but there has to be rules otherwise many, many, people say one thing and do another often enter this country.

Just a disclaimer that I am not a immigration agent or anything....I watch Border patrol.
