How exciting! We will probably see each other in class! (:

Hi congrats on your acceptance! Would you mind telling me your stats when you applied? I've had As in all my nursing pre reqs and co reqs but had gen ED classes years ago that I didn't do well in so my overall GPA is lower than I would like. Trying to see what my chances of acceptance would be

Hello! For when did you try to apply? & honestly, I had B's in my nursing pre reqs (anatomy, physiology, & micro) and a few C's in my generals but mostly A's & B's on my generals. It didn't take long for me to hear back that I got my acceptance call & email. But I have a 3.32 on my GPA overall. & on my HESI I passed it first try & got a 82% but they calculated it a bit different and scored it as a 80%. I thought I was gonna have a harder chance to get in considering I'd see and hear that others had high gpas & HESI scores. But when doing your passion & purpose form they look into it as well since they're really wanting to know why you'd wanna be a nurse.

How long after you submitted your application did you take your HESI? Did you schedule your exam or does the school schedule it for their students? I've also been told that with one application fee, we get two attempts at the HESI?

Thank you for any formation you can provide!

I already had my application pretty much done minus the HESI, I took the HESI twice. There is just one total fee and that includes application and HESI:)

We get to schedule the exam. It's proctored- they make you show them basically everything in the room that you are in. The walls, table, under the tables.

Hey !

I had an overall of a 3.25, I got As on all of my pre reqs minus some old general ED classes I had taken. I didn't do great on the HESI, honestly didn't pass the first time and then I hired a tutor and passed the second attempt. I really think they base a lot off of your passion statement. I'm pretty sure that's what saved me !

Hello! What did you receive the second time around for the HESI? Also, congratulations on being accepted!

Hi everyone, I'm applying to Chamberlain BSN program and I was wondering  if anyone would tell me if you were able to get grants/scholarships to help offset the tuition or did you have to foot the whole bill? I'm an older student (55) and wondering if it's worth it to have that kind of debt at my age if I have to pay the whole bill. Any advice or comments please.

I am currently waiting for admissions comitee to review my file for Sept Nursing Program. I haven't heard anything, but I can access my email and canvas . Is that a good sign?
