Hello Nursing World,
I will be attending Chamberlain's online program this July (God willing)... I have done all the requirements for admission and now I am just basically waiting to pick out my classes. Is anyone else starting in July? Please share the classes that you are planning to take and let's try to keep in touch so we can help/motivate each other through this process. Also, if anyone out there has completed the program, please share with us your experience and opinion on what classes are best to take together and so forth. I am scared but also so excited to be starting school again. I hope all goes well and I graduate on time.
how's everyone doing with their courses?
Next semester I'm taking two classes (this is my first time attempting this) :) --- AND I'm starting a new job! I just got (what I hope to be) my dream job at a dermatologist's office. After 3 1/2 years of the floor, I'm hanging my shoes up for awhile!
csgreen2005,
How was Math 114? I'm taking that next. So far I have taken transitions, information systems, cultural diversity, math 092 and community nursing. Im at the half way mark. I can say, so far everything has been good. Its alot of writing but if you follow the rubric to a T you will always get full credit. No where near as hard as ADN program.
Hi, I am thinking of starting Chamberlain in July 2012, since you started a year ago I am wondering how difficult this program truly was? I work about 50 hours a week and have a family. Am old 50.....and have to do is to keep my job. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks! I will be attending Chamberlain's online program this July (God willing)... Hi Ozzia,
You can say I am about 3/4 of the way to complete the program. At first I was taking 2 classes at a time, took a break and now I am doing 1 class at a time. I have to say that the classes are not hard at all. Just very time consuming. If you follow the rubric to a "T" and post the thread discussions on time, you are garanteed to get an A. You will do just fine if you always stay on top of your work. It is not hard AT ALL. At least for me it hasn't been.

loved it. easy-peasy. Everything is open book and they walk you through how to do the problems. All you have to do is do the homework, take notes on how to do the problem and then plug in those numbers into the equation. Simple. And I think you get to take each test 2 or 3 times and it only saves your best grade. You also get to keep redoing the homework as many times as you want (so theoretically you can get 100 in the class)
