Hi, anyone here going to Chamberlain? I'm enrolled in their FNP program and thought it would be nice to connect with others in the program or NPs that went through the program. Thanks:)

You have to find your own clinicals but apparently they will "assist" if you can't find them. I plan on paying a clinical finding service when the time comes. I have heard of people doing that. I'm finishing up my first class at chamberlain. So far so good. They have good support and are organized. They also provide a lot of resources to help study, including eBooks. It's using canvas and basically you just respond to discussion posts and write papers. The science classes will be proctored exams. It's definitely a program made for full time working adults. I work full time (5 days a week) and it is doable for me. It's one 8 week class at a time, so it's doable. The professors so far are helpful and respond within 24 hours. I was at nova southeastern university before and transferred because it was very disorganized and not really made for working adults. Chamberlain so far is okay.

Can you complete all clinical hours in one location with different NP preceptors? or do they make you have different clinical settings?
Neica Edwards said:Hello, congratulations on furthering your career. It is hard to say depending on where you are located. I did not have any issues finding a job but my location is not overly saturated with FNPs. I will say this networking and putting your name out there is important. Just make sure you use your network and plug yourself into sites such as linked in.
Hello Neica! Did you have to take an exit exam or comprehensive exam for your last class with Chamberlain? If so, were you able to repeat it if you did not pass? Did they allow for multiple repeats or just one-time repeats to pass the class?
