Chamberlain Hesi

Published

Hi all, I'm currently looking into going into chamberlain and have been studying non-stop for their Hesi exam. I was wondering if there was anyone, who has taken it recently that can tell me what all is covered on each section of the exam and what their experience was with it.

Thread was moved to the Chamberlain College forum so that current and former students will answer your questions about the HESI entrance exam. Good luck to you.

I took the HESI over the summer, scored a 90.3% overall. The math, reading and vocab sections weigh heavier than the science sections. What I did was study 1 chapter per day. I did this for about 2-3 weeks, revisiting material over and over until it stuck. Everything that's in the HESI prep book is on the test. The only section that wasn't included was physics. Make sure you know your math, and medical terminology. Good luck! If you have more questions, feel free to ask me

Reading Comprehension, Vocab, math and something else are the only 4 that are used for entrance. Just study typical HESI layouts and questions and you should be fine. Know household conversions, correct usage of words (there, their, they're) and fractions.

Thank you for your responses! I've been using the Hesi admission assessment exam review edition 4. The science part I got down, I'm mostly focusing on the math with ratios, proportions, and fractions. I take my exam on Sepetmber 30th, and I'm feeling very confident that I'll pass it.

I am applying for Chamberlain college of nursing. I was curious as the english and math portion runs heavier than the science.. What score did you get on everything to pass? I've taken the practice tests and gotten 80's 90's on everything but chemistry because I took it so long ago. I've also been studying up on my math section.. Fractions, proportions and ratios. Can anyone give me any insight?
