Hi there,

Is anyone going to be starting FNP with this university? If yes, it will be great to be able to connect for help and support. I live in Houston; just in case you live here and would like to meet up and study together!

Any former students or current ones who could share their experience with this program? Thank you so much and have a great day : )

Hi Nkacor! Congrats on your start in the FNP program ?! How is the first class going? I start May 6th ?.

Thank you! It’s going really well so far! I’m in week 4 and we’ve had two papers and discussion topics each week. So far it’s been very manageable with working FT and having a kiddo. My instructor is Mindy Stayner and she is very helpful.

☺️You're welcome! Seems very doable. That's great that the program is very manageable for you because, I also work FT and have a kiddo (9 years old). So, that makes me feel better to know that it's not too hectic in the beginning of the program. It also helps that you have a supportive instructor. Thank you Nkacor ?!

Is there a facebook group for FNP students commencing May 2019?

Hi, I live in Illinois but just started the NP program at Chamberlain this month ?

Hi Nkacor, what part of IL do you live. I live in South Holland IL. I’m registered for the May session but can’t tell who my teacher is yet. Should we buy the book for the first class?

Cool, I live in New Lenox! The book for the first course is an APA guide. I’ve used it a couple times, but I could have just found my answers online.

Yeah we’re close. I saw the guide and was just wondering can I pass on it because I have an older one. Is the coursework through PowerPoint, record lectures or just research? Sorry for all the questions.

Nurse_Judi25. I don't know. I don't have a FB page but, I think I may sign-up just for school related purposes only.

Hi, even anyone can I thought I was in the BSN bridge to FNP program but then I get a call that I need to "apply" to the FNP program this is a bit annoying to me because initially they promised a bridge program. Bridge programs to my understanding do not require one to re-apply when already accepted. Did this happen to anyone?

The reviews about the FNP Chamberlain program especially the pass rate is troubling for me. I'm going to compare to the Georgetown FNP program and if I come across any snags I'll see if I can transfer out. Thanks!!

P.S. I asked the counselor if I can speak with an alum. And she said she was not able to disclosed that information. So any alums please make yourself known and if you had any issues with getting clinical placements!

Hi! I start the FNP program this July. Anyone else starting this July? Would like to form a group to support one another?
