Hey! Just thought I start a topic if anybody is applying for Fall program to Chamberlain. I've just took my HESI A2 today and barely passed it with 81%. I have a gpa of 3.75 and my advisor told me to just wait for the call around next week but I feel like I should take the HESI again to get a higher score. I'll wait till next week to see if I get in. Fingers crossed.
If you're applying to Chamberlain or planning to attend, join the chat maybe we can become study partners. :)
Hey Kristin,
It helps to transfer in majority of your classes to help with the cost of the program. I transferred all my prereqs and they are old as ever. So you should be fine with them getting accepted, as long as they are not older than 10 years and a passing grade.
I'll be in day classes and won't be working.
So after I got the phone call of getting accepted last week, I get another call saying that I need to retake the HESI because my scores are too old. Sigh. The corporate office wants me to retake it after I was already approved by the committee here in Jacksonville. Next Thursday I will be retaking this test for the final time. I'll keep y'all updated.

So how did you do on your Hesi exam?
@csmuffin I passed. Received my acceptance letter in the mail today. Still have some things to get for the admissions...apply for loans and whatnot. They like to avoid me like the plague....lol. I leave message after message an no one calls me back. Might be making a trip to the campus next week. Have you had any problems with them yet?
@neshelle22 For session 1 I will be taking NR 101 (Wed 6p-750p), Eng 147 (online), and Chem 120 (Wed 9a-1230p). Session 2 will be NR 222 and Spch 277. These are the only "prerequisites" I need to take. If I go full time, with the one part time session, I will receive my BSN by November 2017. What classes will you be taking?
Hi ladies,
They officially registered me for my classes for Session I and II. Session I will be Mondays NR-101 11-1230p and CHEM-120 Wednesday's 9-1230. I'll be taking ENG-147 online. I was supposed to have the NR-101 on Wednesday evenings but I do not think they have that since it's not in the courses to choose from. It works for me. I was not looking forward to driving there twice in one day. Still doing orientation August 21st 10-2p. Hope to meet y'all soon.

Hi all :) After reading the trials and tribulations it takes to apply and be accepted for FSCJ ADN I am leaning towards Chamberlain. I have an appointment this Friday with for my admissions interview, wanting to start Fall 2014. Nervous about my transfer credits from FSCJ (73) and the overall cost of the program but from what I've read on other posts it doesn't seem that hard to get student loans and I know pretty much anyone can get a govt loan. I keep telling myself "investing in your education will pay off in the long run so why not just do it!" I still have Micro and College Algebra to take.
Do any of you still have prereqs to take or would it be better to try to take those at a community college to cut costs down?
Also will you be doing days or night classes? and working full/part time?
