Anyone starting January 4th for the BSN program?
I'm curious how everyone's experience has been so far.I'm thinking of applying to the new Irving (Dallas area) location. I was researching reviews and came across this thread. I've seen mixed reviews :-/ some really good...and some really terrible.
Thanks!

Experience is relative. Seriously. If Chamberlain is your option, it's your option for a reason. I just graduated and have been hired at 3 top notch places (no I am not working all 3), and passed the NCLEX without studying. About 5 of my classmates have tested this far, and everyone has passed. I heard that Houston's pass rate is terrible, but again, I believe that's relative to each person....
Ok, thanks for the info! The Dallas campus is brand new so not sure of the pass rates there. And like you said, everyone's experience is different. I just know the BSN program is very expensive and I would hate to pay that much money for a terrible experience.
Again, I know my experience is based on the people I have interacted with, but 9/10 people I know disliked their nursing school. I didn't love mine, but I'm pretty easy going but not afraid to speak up for myself (and my peers), and go after what I need.
It seems more people get scholarships once enrolled in the program.
Am a LVN in the program ... Finished from el Centro college with that being said thus far I have no complaints at all... I was terrified when I first went to school lol
That's awesome!! I too went to El Centro years ago! I didn't do any programs but took A&P 1&2 there! Glad to hear you like it so far!

Good to know about the scholarships! I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how I would pay for the tuition?! I may get some financial aid as far as a pell grant goes but definitely won't cover everything!

That seems to be all campuses. From what all I've read the education is really good with alot of support but people complain because of the cost of tuition and how hard it is
Is this school more pricy than west coast?
I'm not sure of cost with that many credit hours already, but know it's in the $80,000 range.
West Coast IS more expensive than Chamberlain for BSN. (At least it is in Dallas) I can't remember the exact cost but it was a considerable amount more.
