Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.
Thanks Akilah530. I am just a nervous Nellie. LOL. My GPA is 3.72. I received an email about my bill with a zero balance. I am just curious now because I am starting to receive emails from the school and I have not offically been accepted. Maybe this is a sign that I will be attending come January. Did anyone else received any emails prior to receiving an acceptance letter? Thanks for all the feedback.

Girllllll....3.72 u are in. I would say that if you're receiving emails/bills its a good chance lol. Yes I received word fro. The campus that I was in before I got my acceptance letter. The letter came a week or 2 later lol.
Can someone tell me about the HESI Exam? I take it tomorrow and I'm somewhat worried about the Science portion. I have taken A&P 1 & 2 this year, but I still need to brush up on it because there is so much more to it than just knowing the bones and muscles of the body, etc. The details: How things work. I haven't taken Chemistry since 2009. I was told that you have to memorize the Periodic Table because the HESI Exam will ask questions about, for example, how many electrons does Chlorine have? And then I was told to memorize all your Metric Conversions. Can someone please tell me what I should memorize as far as certain tables in the Review Book (which I have been going through). Does the HESI Exam provide any Tables?
Thank you!
The Hesi exam was not that bad. Make sure you know ratios and proportions. Fractions also. There is alot of them. Refresh yourself with grammer and reading comprehension. As far as A&P just know what's in the book. Know your vocabulary. The same words are on the test so know them......Also know your fractions. I don't recall no periodic table. You will be fine. I worried also but it's pretty simple and most of all if you don't pass, you get a 2ND chance. Good luck.

Teah8177,
You will be fine, 86 is a good score...they only require a 75. How is your GPA? As far as the review board, they just look over your test score and transcripts and make a decision. I have not heard of anyone's file going to review and nor getting in. Don't worry, you will be stressing over exams and classes soon enough!
