Has anyone attended or is currently attending Chamberlain College of Nursing in Atlanta? If so, how is it? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am currently attending a technical college and have done all of my pre requisites except for the sciences. My gpa is 3.40. I just found out about this school and I am very interested... thanks.
Wow, it looks like everyone is in a great place! I pray anyone waiting gets positive news today! I go tomorrow for my pre admissions meeting, but I talked to my advisor today so I kind of know where I am financial aid-wise. Meh.... All those wasted, expired credits ate away at some of my funds. Lol. I don't start the nursing component this session, which is great because I need a job and if I go back to my old job I know my hours won't be flexible enough for clinicals. If they weren't so expensive I'd take out a living expense loan. Needless to say, I am excited and will make it work. Though $150 for a drug test seems a little extra. I've never paid for a drug test, so that alone seems odd. Can't you get a CVS kit for like $30?!
Can any current student tell me what the name of the A and P 1 book is and what supplies are needed for the labs......I am waiting for registration but would like to get the books ordered now.......thanks in advance
You should be able to go to http://www.chamberlain.edu and go to book store. You will be able to select the class and it will tell you what books are needed
You should be able to go to Nursing School, Earn a Nursing Degree Online or On-site | Chamberlain and go to book store. You will be able to select the class and it will tell you what books are needed
I tried that but it didnt give me the those books only the nursing courses.......

Hello All! Congrats to all of the soon to be RN's! I have been watching this forum like a hawk for the past two months! I think all of questions have been answered! However I do have a few questions! Are some of you working while in this program because I don't have a choice because I have to take care of myself! Also I am torn between applying for the Sept or Jan start! Reason being is that I am waiting to hear back from a college here locally but I won't hear back from them until the end of Oct! But what if I don't get in to that college!?!? I live in Greenville, SC but i do have family that I can stay with in GA. Chamberlain seems easier to get in to. Help me any suggestions?
