I am interested in going to Chamberlain, but its either the admission office is so busy they never call you back. I want to try to get into the November session but I can't find it on the website where it shows the exact start date. I also was trying to see how much does the tuition go down if you have all of your pre reqs. Any info is welcomed. Oh yah and also should I start applying now so that I can start before seats are filled up. Thanks

You have to either keep calling and calling and calling until you finally talk with someone knowledgeable (third time was a charm for me) or just go over there. Speaking of going over there, they hold Open Houses multiple times per year--they just had one in Jan and one again yesterday 3/16 (don't know when the next one is).

I don't know the exact dates they start but I was told by a rep of Chamberlain they admit new students 3 times a year: Jan, May and Sept--there was no mention of November....

As far as the tuition goes, you'll have to set up an appointment and take your unofficial transcripts over for evaluation to figure out what will transfer (and what you'll still be required to take--this will give you an idea of what your tuition will end up being).

In any event, Good Luck! Maybe I'll see you over there (I have to find out if I can get enough in student loans to at least cover most of the tuition/books--I'm not sure I'll be able to afford it :(

I finally spoke to someone and I was supposed to see them Monday March 26th, but I wasn't feeling too well. Now they are asking me for my HS transcript even though I have 60 college credits. I wouldn't care but I see that they said your HS gpa has to be a 2.75 mine is a 2.5. I wish they wouldn't determine it based on that at all. In HS I didn't take my education seriously, and they should see that things have changed seeing my college GPA is a ALOT higher than that. I mentioned to the admission counselor that I probably do not have enough loans left to cover and all she said was we can talk about it. I thought that the total would at least cut down to half if you have all the pre-reqs. I don't know. They way things are going with Nursing Schools in general I'm thinking about changing my major to Ultrasound Technologist or something else. The only problem is I can't see myself being anything else besides a nurse.

Have you considered GPC or Chattahoochee Tech?
