Hi Everyone!
I am weighting the options of attending Chamberlain's BSN program and wanted to know anyone who has attended opinion of the school. Did you feel like you were prepared for the NCLEX? Did you easily find a job?
Any feedback would be amazing! This is my first post so please let me know if I posted inaccurately.
Thanks,
Shawna

I just went to their open house yesterday and from what I saw and after talking with some of the Professors AND some of the student nurses already attending there, I plan to apply to start in January. If you haven't I would attend an open house to get alot of those questions answered but from what they said(I was the one asking those very questions) their pass rate for the NCLEX is great. It fluctuates though because they have such small class sizes so even one person failing out of 28 people will make the pass rate go down.
Muldrowtl..did you decide to go to chamberlain? I'm going to the open house next week!
Well my husband is in the military and we may not be here. I was going to go and even apply so that I could start in January. So we'll have to see if we'll be stationed here for another 3 years or if I'll be somewhere else. Open house is great though. Make sure when You all sit down with the professors and deans to ask as many questions as you can.
any good questions to ask?
I asked about graduation rates, NCLEX pass rates. Ask about anything you're concerned with that has to do with curriculum. They will answer everything. I didn't however ask about how much hands on there would be in the actual clinical settings. I've heard conflicting things about that. And also talk to any of the students that already attend.
Thanks for your help! Let me know if you stay on because I'm pretty sure it is going to be my choice! We can be "freshman" together lol :)
