Chaffey College nursing program Fall 2018

Hi everyone, I applied this Spring 2018 for the Fall 2018 semester. I am wondering if anyone else has applied and/or gotten any letter. Currently I am waiting. Hopefully mine arrives soon. Is there anyone out there currently waiting too?

you're very welcome. are you just applying here? Have you considered a university? What did gpa in science and overall did you apply with?

I applied at Chaffey and Mt SAC only, but I don't have enough points to even be considered at Mt SAC. I believe I applied at chaffey with a 3.2 in sciences and a 3.5 or so in GE. I haven't really looked into universities because i don't work or have the money to consider it i guess. I don't get financial aid anymore aside from the BOG.

I think that i am in the same situation as you but when you graduate, it'll be worth it ... because the money that you'll be making will be enough to pay the loans off... I'd consider it. I felt the same way as you but i feel like this is such a waiting game and luck game. With universities, at least, they'll interview you before fully committing to you....

You have a point there. I'll look into it forsure. I just want to keep the ball rolling since this is the first official break I'm taking from school. All my prerequisites are complete even the nursing classes I can take without being in the program. Some universities though require some extra classes to be taken like English 1B or organic chemistry. Do you have those completed? Or don't need them for the universities you're applying for?
