Chaffey College nursing program Fall 2018

Hi everyone, I applied this Spring 2018 for the Fall 2018 semester. I am wondering if anyone else has applied and/or gotten any letter. Currently I am waiting. Hopefully mine arrives soon. Is there anyone out there currently waiting too?

I think some people already received their acceptance letters.... I haven't gotten mine neither, that's weird!! After reading he other post, I saw that people received their letters within the 10 days and acceptance letter goes first. =[

Aw really?? That sucks! I was really hoping to get in but I've been waiting for my letter and nothing has arrived not even a denial letter. ☹️ When did you apply?

I can't remember, but i know that i applied the first week that they were accepting letters. What about you? If I don't receive anything by the end of this week, I'll be making my way to the nursing office.

I applied the first week too on March 6th to be exact. On the paper you get when you drop off the application it states that no info will be given out by phone or email so I'd say showing up is the best call. I'm just wondering if alternate letters have also been sent. I've heard girls who are already in the program say last semester there were a lot of alternates that got selected so idk. I've been bummed all this month just waiting and nothing.

Same here, I've been totally bummed. This is my second time applying! Yes, in another post, I saw that alternatives have been selected.

I threw the letter away. Did they say you start receiving letters in 4-10 days right?

Yeah it says 7-10 days after close of application period. Is it really? I'm sorry to hear that. It sucks how it's all lottery! I don't even have any more classes to take. I'm still hoping my letter is lost somewhere. í ½í¸­

Haha! I'm hoping my letter is lost somewhere too! ... Well, it's been 17 days!! I'll go see them on Thursday, the next time I have a class at that campus.

Oooh... well i'm finding that my luck isn't soo good with community colleges so i'm taking classes that are pre-requisites for universities.

I don't want to wait around hoping to get lucky and I personally think that the point system for the other CC's are unfair.

I agree. I applied for Mt.Sac too and didn't make enough points to even be considered. I believe Valley is point system too but no one wants to go there. lol Their passing rate is low, which is why everyone applies at Chaffey.

Good for you though, I've heard private schools are great but a little expensive and as for universities I've heard they're extremely competitive and hard to get in. Either way I wish you good luck.

Yeah, I'm interested in applying for APU and Loma Linda. My friend is currently in APU and she says it's an amazing program and they really help you succeed in school and as a nurse.

I only applied for RCC and Chaffey.

hey there, yes i did. They said that denial letters go out up to 4-6 weeks. so im guessing we're denied lol.
