cgfns edas report - australia

Last time I used cgfns was back in 2001 when I completed the CP program but now I may need to have an edas report completed.

For those that have done this process recently (and extra points if your from Australia), is cgfns the ones to request the original documents from your school or do you have to?  I am no longer living australia but now in the USA since 2001. Same goes for verifying my australian nursing license.  Do they request that information from APHRA or do I?
