CEUS

Quick question

I am an RN in NJ and we need 30 CEUs every two years. Can you tell me how many contact hours I will need to do if my modules are 0.1 contact hours? I came up with 180 contact hours to equal 30 CEUs. Is this correct?

    Most healthcare facilities have some sort of arrangement with an online provider of CEU's, for example my facility uses CE Direct, but you are more than welcome to obtain CEU's from nursing journals and other sources.

    Now for your question 1 CEU is equal to 10 contact hours, so you would need 300 of .1 contact hours. When I look for continuing education hours I tend to go for the ones that give you 5 or more contact hours.
