CEUs for California RN?

Anyone have a clear concise answer (or a website that explains an answer) to what the CEU requirements are for CA RN and a list of approved CEU providers? Medscape.com has free CEUs and I can't find anywhere on the site where it says what states accept their CEUs.

I am licensed in CA and IL (which recently changed the NPA to include CEU requirements for LPNs and RNs -- previously was only APNs), and think I probably need to get on my CEUs to be safe for renewal.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The BRN website for CA lists the requirements for renewing a license. You can find all info there.

CA does accept the CEUs from Medscape, if that is what concerns you. Many of my co-workers use those.
