CEU requirement in ILLINOIS?

Does anyone know if there is going to be a requirement for CEUs in ILLInois? My CNC said it is 20 but I can't find that info anywhere...?

Let's move this to the Illinois forum. I took a look at the Professions web page and that is too confusing to even attempt. My suggestion would be to call the board.

The current nurse practice act sunsets on January 1, 2008. The proposed new act calls for 20 CEUs per renewal period, among other changes. I don't know if Gov. Blago has signed the bill yet, or if any changes will be made before it is signed.

If the bill passes as it stands, you would need 20 CEUs to renew in 2010.
