CEU help?

Nurses New Nurse

I received my license Oct 2011 and renewed it in march. I just started working July 2012. So my question is, do I have 2 years from Oct or 2 years from July to complete the CEUs? Also, where are reliable sites or places you all go to when completing your CEUs? I'm new to this, so any information is greatly appreciated. TIA!

See the attached doc. Also, below are some sites with CNEs that I have used:

I bet you have 2 years from the date of licensure, rather than the date you started working, to complete them. It depends on your state board of nursing's rules.

In Massachusetts our license is good for 2 years....birthday to birthday starting the year you were first granted the license.I've found interesting, useful CEUs at Western Schools....online or on paper.

I'm in MA, and tested in June. My birthday is in November and because I'm an RN, and those licenses renew on even years (as opposed to odd years for LPN) I get the joy of paying to renew my license 5 months after receiving it! The good news is I do not need to get any number of CEUs done for this renewal.

I believe for most states your CEUs are due when your license expires.. So for me, mine are due by November 2014, not June (when I was originally licensed) or September (when I will begin work) but again probably depends on the state so definitely check with your BON to be sure!
