Hi guys! I just want to have some insights regarding the issue of my ces report, you are free to comment all your concerns.
I applied at NJ BON last January 2018, and it took awhile to complete all the necessary documents needed for me to take the NCLEX exam. (My 1st CES report got expired before I applied at NJ BON, i didnt know that CES reports have an expiration date)
So i applied last May 2018 for the Re-evaluation of my CES report with english proficiency... I took my IELTS exam last July2017 and got a score of 6.5 in my overall score and 7.0 in speaking.. My CES report was issued this Sept 2018 and was electronically sent to NJ BON. I assumed that everything is fine because the only thing that the BON is waiting for them to issue my ATT is my CES report. When i called the BON, they said that they cannot issue my ATT and accept my CES report because I got a score of 5.5 in 1 of the modules in my IELTS exam. (Knowing that the CGFNS approved/issued my report. Which means i passed the criteria of IELTS exam in their own terms) But then, when i called CGFNS regarding that, they told me that the information that the BON gave them is to have only an overall score of 6.5 and a speaking of 7.0....they didn't specifically pointed out that there shoudn't be a grade below 6.0. So now the CGFNS told me that they will contact the BON regarding that matter and will email me what happens next...
I am so bothered if I need to take a new IELTS exam. Should i follow what the BON says? Or just wait until the issue is settled between CGFNS and the BON? Im so sad because i took the IELTS test before I migrated to US last year, knowing that i passed the criteria of ielts score stated at the website of CGFNS.... And I also searched if there are schedules of IELTS test near our area but got disappointed because it is only held once a year, and it was done last August 2018.... I dont know what to do now. Any insights please? Thankyou.

At the end of the day the BON has the final say. If they say they require a new English certificate because they do not accept the old one then you have to retake the exam. Do they accept any other English exam or just IELTS?
Yeah they accept both IELTS and TOEFL. How come the board told me to pay the 200$ fee for them to issue my ATT without even checking my CES report if they are all correct. And how come the CGFNS didnt have much information about the correct grading of the IELTS exam? The BON and CGFNS literally dont communicate all the necessary informations with each other! I've been studying since May hoping to receive my Re-Evaluation this Sept, and when it was released there's discrepancy in my IELTS score. I'm supposed to schedule my NCLEX RN exam this Oct, but this happened!
