Hi everyone. Please I am about submitting my application for QSW before 31st march. I read where it says that documents should be certified by the issuer or recognized body in the country where it was issued. I trained in Nigeria and have worked in the carribean for years and now in ireland...please can i certify these documents in ireland? if yes ,which institution is best, police, notary etc? or do i have to send them to all the countries that issued them? please kindly advice. God bless you.

Hi all, please someone should reply...if you do not understand what i asked kindly let me know. God bless

Did you try inquiring with the Quebec authorities as to their requirements as they are the group with the final determination as to whether your submitted credentials are acceptable?

Thanks justbeachyNurse....I was not asking about credential evaluation, my question was on where to certify photocopies of my credentials as i am not submitting the original documents. Their website says it should be certified by the issuer or organisation recognised in the country it was issued, I do not leave in the countries that issued these certificates, so can i certify these copies in my present location or do i have to start posting them to where they where issued for certification/notarization? thank you

If that is what the site says then you cannot certify documents from the Caribbean & Nigeria in Ireland. How would an Irish document specialist be able to verify the authenticity of a document issued from another country?

Can you contact the overseas authorities to send certified copies of the documents directly to Quebec authorities?

Thanks justbeachyNurse, I appreciate!
