Certified Pediatric Nurse Exam

Hey guys! So I am taking the CPN exam in less than two weeks. I haven't studied much bc I don't really know where to begin. Can anyone give me some pointers? Maybe explain the format of the test, what I should focus on most, books and resources you've used. Thanks in advance!

Visit the PNCB website - they have everything you are looking for, I.e. Content outline, list of resources...

I remember a lot of developmental stage questions- like a mom is concerned because her 3 year old has an imaginary friend, or a teenager asks if a shot will hurt so which answer is best to give him and stuff like that.

This is excellent advice. It probably would have been beneficial to start before now but it can still be doable if you have a solid base of experience behind you. If not I would reschedule. I found it helpful to do the practice tests that you can purchase on the PNCB website. There are also several physical books that you can purchase from PNCB store or even on amazon. There are videos, flash cards, practice tests, audio files, etc. Pretty much anything you could want depending on what kind of learner you are. The materials can get kind of pricey so if you can find someone who is also taking the test I would encourage you to split the cost. Good luck!
