New here!
I am a Certified Paramedic (just graduated/passed boards), with a BS in Bio and EMT-B cert. I am applying for Paramedic positions with no luck thus far. Unfortunately, I do not have experience as an EMT-B or a Paramedic and am thinking this is the problem?
Could I apply for CNA positions with these credentials? Certainly do not want to spend more $$ and time toward yet another cert.,but need experience. If I could also apply for CNA jobs, then I could increase my opportunities.
Would this be a case by case basis e.g. particular facilities have the ability to make that decision? I have been trying to find info. regarding state rules/regs but nothing found thus far.
I am located in Charlotte, NC.
TIA

ERs in some areas hire paramedics as medics (some to practice to their full scope, some as regular techs). I would look there.
