Cerritos College fall/2016

I thought I would start a discussion regarding those of us who are awaiting acceptance letters from Cerritos College. The waiting period of finding out if we are accepted can be very stressful. Who has applied for this upcoming semester?

Hey I'm also waiting to hear back. Although I'm assuming we both applied for cerritos Fall 16 and Spring 17 . I would rather get into the spring 17 due to money issues and moving out but Ill take fall if i get it.

Hello there! :) I also applied this year. Do you know when we are suppose to hear back from them? I checked the past years, they seemed to have got it around early May

My girlfriend was told they had a 3-year wait. Is that not true?

No its all lottery. Whoever doesn't get accepted needs to apply again next year. No waiting list

I did apply there too. What I was told at the orientation was the mail would be sent out in June. I may not be right. Did anyone hear that?

Hey guys! When I went to turn in my application the woman at the desk mentioned that we would be hearing back late May or early June. I hope it's sooner because I saw they heard back beginning of May the last application period.

Hey everyone! I just recieved my letter in the mail today, looks like it was mailed out on May 6. I'm really sad to find out I was selected as an alternate, but I have yet to take my TEAS exam so that may have played a role, not sure. Now Im wondering what the likelihood is of being admitted after being placed on the alternate list. Also, One very confusing thing is that the letter states TEAS scores must be submitted by May 20, 2016, but the same letter states that the date and time scheduled for me to take the TEAS exam at Cerritos, is May 26, AFTER the deadline. I emailed the Health Occupations office, just waiting to hear back, I'll update once I do. Congratulations in advance to everyone who gets in!

Greeting everyone,

I just received my letter today by mail and it says it was written on May 4th. I was accepted into the program for fall 2016 and the letter states that if one hasn't taken the TEAS yet, May 26th is the test date. However, if the TEAS have been taken already, those scores must be turned in by May 20th. Good luck to everyone else, can't wait to hear back from everyone that applied.
