  1. Thank you for your positive post. I am not the original poster but some of these replies were simply mean. I find it hard to believe that some of provide compassionate care to your clients. It's difficult and frustrating when you work hard on school and you don't feel like you will be able to support yourself financially. The East coast is very expensive to live. OP hang in there!
  2. I just took it last week. I am 4.0 student and I found it difficult but possible. He questions that are presented to you in scenario manner, so you either know the info or u don't. I would suggest u down load the free app "rn mentor" and do ask many questions as possible under the fundamentals section. The app is made by ATI so u can get a feel for it.
  3. The only thing I found interesting about these stats are that male nurses make a lot more money than female nurses holding the same position with advanced degrees. Another interesting factor, which I already had an idea of, was that in order to be competitive in the job market one must hold an advanced degree beyond a BSN.
  4. Out of curiosity, all of those who received offers do you have an ADN or BSN? Are these type of new grad programs difficult to get into if you only have s ADN?
  5. I received my denial letter today. But I was accepted to 2 other colleges in my area. It is very stressful applying to schools that are lottery based. I suggest that others apply at schools that are point based if you have the grades to do so. It sucks to work for great grades and then to get shut down based on a lottery. Good luck to all!
  6. I was literally so nervous that my palms were sweaty and clammy. I ended up with an overall of 83%. I studied by purchasing the ATI manual and purchasing both practice exams online on the ATI website. If possible I would suggest purchasing at least one so you can get a feel for what the actual test Feels like. The testing format is almost exact to this particular practice test. The ATI manual covered everything on my particular exam. Please let me know any questions or concerns you have while the info is fresh in my mind.
  7. I am taking my teas test today for another school that I received an invite for, El Camino College. I will let you guys know what to expect once I come home tonight.
  8. Geez! That seems pretty late. Thank you for the update.
  9. Thank you for letting us know about ur rejection letter. At least I know I will be receiving something! Good luck on ur studies at Cal State. It is a very good school.
  10. I'm hoping my mail was delayed and I get mines today. I have a 4.0 and I will feel frustrated if all that late night studying was not good enough. Only time will tell. Congrats to everyone else!
  11. Yikes! Did you receive it via regular mail? What was the date on the letter? Was it an acceptance letter or an invite to the teas? Sorry so many questions! Lbcc is my first choice school! I'm getting nervous! í ½í¸¬
  12. I am patiently waiting as well! I hope we hear something soon!
  13. Yikes! I haven't gotten anything yet! Did it come via mail? When did you receive it? Thanks for the info!
  14. I thought I would start a discussion regarding those of us who are awaiting acceptance letters from Rio Hondo. The waiting period of finding out if we are accepted can be very stressful. Who has applied for this upcoming semester?
  15. I thought I would start a discussion regarding those of us who are awaiting acceptance letters from Cerritos College. The waiting period of finding out if we are accepted can be very stressful. Who has applied for this upcoming semester?
