just a quick question for anyone who knows. I have a compact license and in 2015 was censured for "patient abandonment" I quit my job without giving "2 weeks notice" and the DON (whom was my reason for just quitting) reported me to the BON. I was reprimanded for not submitting a 2 weeks notice. I didn't walk out on any patients (this was home health) I finished my day/visits and quit that evening but because they had to cover the next day visits I get punished. The whole report was bogus, and yeah I'm a bit bitter about it, but anyway, I know censure is the least restriction you can get but I want to apply for a license to work in Illinois and I'm wondering if this is something that will prohibit me from being able to do so? Thanks.
