I am due for my CEN recertification and am compiling all CE's over the past 4 years. I realized today that the website says they will count academic credit also. My question is, does anyone know if there is a limit of the amount of credits that can be used? I finished my BSN during this time and am thinking that may be enough for the CEN. Sent an email to the BCEN but have not heard anything back yet.

YEs it can count. They need to be directly related to emergency nursing, which is a pretty wide definition. Geriatrics, public health even nutrition count. Go to BCEN website and download the recent packet. It explains it pretty well.
