Cedars-Sinai just opened the New Grad applications for the October 2020 cohort. I opened this thread so we can keep each other updated. Who else applied?

During my interview one of the nurse managers mentioned final decisions are usually sent out about a week or so after interviews! Hope that helps ?

Hi! Does anyone know how soon the references need to submit? I got mine today close to 5pm! And does everyone who interviews get a reference check? Thanks!

I didn't receive a call for a second interview and I interviewed for the OR. Was OR your first choice? Please let us know how it goes or what it is about. I also didn't receive a reference email either.

I will definitely keep you updated! Maybe the process is different for each of us? Regardless, I'll keep you posted

Does anyone know if it is essential that at least two of the references be past managers?

I still haven't gotten the reference email...kind of worried ?

Also did anyone get a chance to ask what their pay rate is and if they offer a differential for having a masters?

I also didn’t get a second interview call and I interviewed for OR. The OR was my first choice! 
And I didn’t get a reference email either. Now I’m a little nervous because I thought my interview went well ?

If this helps so that we're not emailing HR the same question. Clinical Instructors may be considered as your Managers.

Is that what they told you when you called HR? Did you put them under "teacher/ professor" or did you put them under "Manager"?

Yea, I emailed the new grad recruiter to see if it was okay and he said yes, it is considered Manager.

I ended up getting an interview on the 17th after being notified only two days prior. Apparently some people withdrew their applications so I was next in line. Got the reference email at 5pm on Friday also. Fingers crossed for everyone!
