Cedars-Sinai New Grad October 2020

Hello guys!

Cedars-Sinai just opened the New Grad applications for the October 2020 cohort. I opened this thread so we can keep each other updated. Who else applied?

I applied as well. For the last cohort they hired less than 30 people, anywhere from 1-6 per unit (except OR which hired more). The recruiter had told me for that cohort they were only interviewing people who already had their license at the time of application. No idea if it will be more/different this time. Wishing us all luck.

oh I hope its different this time! When I called the hospital HR 2 days ago and asked if it was OK that I don't have my license just yet she said it was fine as long as I have it by the interview date.

Have you guys applied to other New Grad positions? If so, what others did you apply to? I'm not from CA so I'm just trying to see all of my options because I know some have postponed their programs.

Mine says under consideration, updated August 20

Mine says under consideration - updated August 19. It probably updates as they process that you meet the requirements.

What units did everyone apply for? I applied to 5NE/5NW (cardiac)

8NE (neuro) and 5SW (med/surg)!
