hi! wanted to start a thread for those applying for the May 2023 deadline

I haven't gotten anything yet either and interviewed with the wednesdau group. Portal still says completed/active, admissions said that means they haven't made a decision yet.

Who in admissions? Did you talk to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME), the admissions adviser for the program?  Was a final date mentioned to hear back?

Not sure if it was (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) but it was SAGE and she mentioned a week or two most.

Interesting. I wonder how they start off the selection process then. 
hopefully just a week. Hearing people get acceptances and having to wait just for a decision is torturous

We get 2 weeks to put our deposit to secure a spot. They might wait until afterwards to send out more acceptances if people don't accept.

Is it possible to ask where we are in the unofficial waitlist?

I personally wouldn't ask. I would just wait until you hear from them because that may come off pushy or impatient. Let the process play out even if others have heard back already. Don't assume until you hear!

Just to put your mind at ease (I know its hard, in the same boat) (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) said "we will continue to process admissions decisions over the next couple of weeks, we will reach out with any updates."

For those of you who were accepted to start Fall '24, have you received any additional emails regarding class registration or student portal? I paid the graduate deposit Wednesday and haven't gotten another email since the letter on Tuesday. Can't wait to meet everyone!

ACH transfer, in general, takes a few (4-5) days to complete. Although you may have received an auto receipt that doesn't mean CCC has actually received your payment. Give it a few days.
