CE continuing education

My License in CA is expiring this year. What courses should I take to that is credited by BON? I need suggestions on what site to take for online courses? Thank you.

@ceebum I go to http://www.medceu.com/ online and take whatever classes i want to to get 30 ceu's to renew my license every 2 years. You do have to pay a fee and become a member but it is cheap compared to some online sites.

Depending on your interests, speciality or future career interests you should focus on the ceu's that would suit you and your career goals!

Hope that helps!

Also if this is your first time renewing I believe you are excempt from providing 30 ceu's. Double check that with the BON

@snuggles33 thank you for response. This would be my 2nd time to renew my license. somebody mailed me a no exam required booklet. Is it valid? again thank you for your help. =)

@ceebum I'm not sure what that booklet is about but as i is your 2nd time renewing you will need to have proof that you completed 30 CEU's (I say proof as in you will need to have the certificates printed out and put them in a file somewhere if ever you are audited by the BON. I provided you with a link to where I go to get mine and also if you are working in-services can have ceu's attached to them and you can also use the ceu's for initial certification for bls, acls etc.. but you cant use them if you are renewing a bls/acls license. Hope that helps

It's called CE Express home study by WESTERN SCHOOL. I have to mail back to them the evaluataion from plus the payment and they will send me back the certificate. Anyways, I'll just stick to the site you've shared since you were using it and I could print the certificates right away. Thank you so much I really appreciate it. Have a great day!:)
