CCTC Fall 2017

Published

Looking to apply to ADN program at CCTC for fall 2017. Looking to connect with others and get idea of what process is like.

Central Carolina technical college?

Yes, Central Carolina Technical College

I just started my first semester of their nursing program, the process is fairly simple once you have all of your prerequisites done. I sat down with my advisor and he went through the classes I already took and looked over my teas scores & sent my information off to the nursing director of the program. 2-3 months later i received an acceptance letter in the mail. Orientation was a month after that.

I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have

Thank you so much. I have my prerequisites done and took my teas last month. My GPA is 2.8 and teas is 72% overall. Do you know whether it is hard to get accepted and how many they accept each semester? I'm hoping I can get in this Fall.

There's 64 students in my class, I heard they accept around 70-75 each year. Your teas scores are slightly higher than mine and your gpa is pretty good too! You'll be fine :)

I applied a couple weeks ago. Our scores and gpa are right in line with each other :)

That's great, Good luck to you. I'm so anxious to find out if we get in.

I've been looking for other applicants for Fall 2017. I'm excited to say I received my acceptance letter on Wed 4/19. I'm very excited and nervous at the same time. Hope you all were accepted too.

Hello do you mind telling your Gpa and Teas score? I'm applying for Spring 18 and I'm trying to get an idea of what type of scores they accept. Thanks.

Hey guys I just finished my first semester and I wanted to let you all know it isn't actually that bad..

Just come prepared EVERYDAY

Dont forget any books you may need and definitely DO NOT forget your supplies on days you have lab or clinical

PAY VERY CLOSE attention to EVERY word your instructor says

Do not wait until the last minute to study or complete a care plan

Try to interact in class

& remember to eat lol I'm very serious

but you will have fun and learn a lot along the way

GOOD LUCK GUYS !

Thanks for the advice, I was accepted as well. Very excited and nervous. Looking forward to getting started
