Hi, I'm applying this February 2016 for the nursing program, who's with me?

I will be applying to all campuses except Newport. I have 178.3 points. The average seems to be around the 180s

I can't decide if I should put days or evenings as my first choice... I *can* make either work but there are pros/cons to both. I'm trying to figure out which one will be easiest on my kids. Anyone else applying with that has little ones at home?

I'm applying for days. 2 of my kids are in school so it will only be a minor change for them and I have better options between my husbands flexible schedule and family for the little ones. In my situation days just makes more sense.

I would prefer days, I did 3 nights a week in class for the prereq's and it was hard on my husband/kids. I have one who will be 3 and one who will be 6. I just don't know if the daycare costs will work out for the day program. I considered putting this off until my little one is in school but I just want to get it over with.

I was originally planning on applying to all Night & Day but I just got a full time job, so I'll only be able to do nights for school. Which makes me nervous because my I figured even tho I had 171 points if I chose all campuses I'd have a better chance.

Does anyone know the hours of the day program? Is it two days of clinical and two days of in class work.

Yes, its 2 days of clinical 7-3 and the 2 class days are usually around 8 am - 11 am.

Has anyone applied before and know what the actual application looks like when it opens? I've done the Nursing Pre-Admission check (like 4 times haha) to make sure that I have everything done but I am nervous that when the application opens there will be some kind of surprise.

I'm with you!

I am taking the Hesi A2 in two weeks, of course not giving myself any space to meet min requirements of 7.5 in each section. I have 160 points so far. Hoping to knock out the hesi and wait anxiously with everyone applying.

I was interest in night too until I found out about having to be there at 3 on Mondays so I'm leaving my job and doing days lol

Where did you do the Pre- Admission check?

If you go into your My CCRI account, on the For Students page, left hand side right under the PBHS application is the Pre-Admission check.
