Nursing Students School Programs

Hello All!

So, I just took my HESI A2 exam on January 9, 2018. My overall score was an 85. I am anticipating applying to the program this February, for Fall 2018. I'm a bit nervous at the moment, because my current points is 164.9; that includes my HESI score. I was told by an advisor that each application cycle varies in regards to the points and campus assignments, based on the applicant pool. Just curious to know who else is considering applying for the fall as well?

Well remember the only thing that is due this Friday is the BCI. Our health requirements are due by April 3rd. I'm 73% done with my health requirements. I have been uploading them through the app. The app is super easy

My background results are in!!! And so is my hep b, which I'm apparently not immune to :( so I have to get the vaccine. Waiting to hear back from my doctor....hope everyone is chugging along successfully!!

Mine came back as well thank goodness! Just make sure when you get your shot you upload it right away! Not sure if it's a series that you get or one shot

The only thing I'm waiting on is my TB blood test results. I go back this Friday the 30th for a follow-up and to get the signed forms from my PCP and I'm hoping the results are in. I couldn't get into a doctor in time to do the skin test a week apart, and I didn't know I could just walk into a clinic for the first one. Oh well. I emailed the nursing department though, and it seems like I should be okay though. This whole thing is crazy stressful!

Luckily all of my vaccines are up to date, and I didn't need any titiers so that's one less thing to worry about.

I'm just waiting on my hep b, vaccine. Which I am at CVS minute clinic right now lol I think all this stuff was more stressful then waiting to see if we made it lol

Right?! This is way more stressful than the waiting.

Like I said, I'm most worried about my TB blood results coming back in time.

Afagundo i will be out of the country for the orientarion as well, i cant seem to get a response from anyone at the school, what did they tell you?

I spoke to one of the nursing professors and she said she will put my name down on a list. Apparently there are a few students with the same problem and they are planning on setting up a second mini orientation some time in June. She told me to wait for an email with info on the second orientation. Still waiting on the email. So just go talk to someone in the nursing department I'm sure you can go to the second one as well.

I actually went and talked to them earlier today, they told me the same thing. Glad they're going to do an orientation for us, thanks!

Does anyone know about signing up for classes? Do we need to wait until after the orientation?

Someone who is in the nursing program right now, told me, they will send you an email around orientation time with instructions on signing up for classes. That's all the info I could get lol

Everyone who got accepted, did you get the official email???? Just signed up for classes, excited and nervous at the same time. also if anyone needs a buddy, send me a request!
