Has anyone applied for the nursing program for CCP 2018

is it possible to view the score online?

Congrats!!! How long after seeing the update did you get your official letter?

I was just accept to advance placement. Hope to see you guys there. My major have changed as well to Nursing.

@ LPN2RN -Hi would you mind sharing the Advanced placement process. I am planning to apply for advanced placement next year 2019. Was curious how the steps and requirements went. I know the details but just want a person who actually went thru it to give me any advice or steps. What do they base your acceptance on? and was the process long. I know we don't have to take the Kaplan test. I have about 24 credits done at CCP the rest are transferred and I have AP 1 and 2 done. I graduate with my LPN in Dec 18 and plan to take NClex by mid January 19'. I know your LPN license is needed to apply. When did you submit your application and how long after did you find out you were excepted? All you help is appreciated in advance.

Any fellow LPNs willing to get together for study groups? I hope to see you guys in the transitional course this fall.

Hey, I applied December 2017 and recieved my letter June 1st but I was able to call to find out the status of my application. May 15 was the deadline. I hope this helps. Good luck in 2019!

I'm sorry I had to reset my password. I have taken all my Pre-requisite courses already. So all I have to do is just Nursing classes. You need your license, transcript from Lpn school, high school Diploma, college transcripts and your app for the program.

I would love too. Just message me.

Hi K_marie402 and RQue I have a question so if I am applying for Advance placement because I am a LPN already, I DON'T have to take the Kaplan???

No you don't have to take the Kaplan test. You will just be placed in advance placement. They whole I believe 30 spots for LPN's. You just have to meet all the requirements. I hope this helps.

Thanks so much.... LPN2RN loading one more question can you just break down the requirements for the Advance placement please....

Advanced Placement Option:

Licensed practical nurses, corpsmen, and candidates who have had one year of successful previous nursing school experience in the U.S. may apply for advanced placement through Credit by Prior Learning Assessment for Nursing 101. Advanced placement candidates must complete all admission requirements for consideration by the department. Successful completion of Health B9026, the noncredit transition course, is required before advanced placement is granted. Students who meet these criteria are admitted on a space-available basis. Applications are due by May 15. Application does not ensure admissions.

All Advance Placement Option applicants must complete the following courses, with a C or higher, by May 31 prior to the anticipated September transition course and January enrollment. Transfer credits must be posted on the student record by June 30.
